This small bronze artifact is believed to be a miniature dagger case, or quiver. The dagger, with a gamma-shaped hilt, can be seen in bronze figurines of tribal chiefs and other high-ranking figures. The object, used for votive purposes, served as an amulet. The two rings, in full-size quivers, were used to fasten the dagger sheath to a belt or bandolier.
